very classy and historical vibe. my corner queen room had a spacious layout with a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and a comfy bed. the building's charm shows in the gorgeous decor. also enjoyed great food and drinks at the on-site restaurant. the atmosphere made every moment special.

Diving into Kansas City's culinary scene was a treat! Yard House had mouthwatering dishes that kept me coming back for more, and the coffee from the onsite shop was spot on! Plus, the hotel exuded charm and style that'll make any foodie smile.

While the rooms had stylish decor, they felt a tad snug, which might not be ideal for those who love some space. Also, the lack of nearby dining options after hours was a letdown.

The historic charm throughout the building delivers a unique character that’s hard to find. The Starlight Ballroom impresses with its architecture, ideal for special events, while the terrace with fire pits adds a cozy outdoor option for relaxing evenings.

Room size can feel cramped for anyone sensitive to tight spaces, with lower ceilings and dark colors making it less than comfortable. One elevator not operating led to congestion during busy times, impacting access. The parking situation with valet can feel chaotic, especially with buses obstructing the entrance. Bedding can make odd, loud noises when moving, and window coverings didn’t block all the light, leading to a less than peaceful slumber.

Exceptionally clean, beautiful hotel with stunning modern rooms and an above and beyond beautiful bathroom featuring a great shower. The coffee shop is exceptional and it's conveniently located about 25 km from the nearest airport.

The nearby upscale grocery store offered convenience, but overall, there could be more variety in available dining options within the hotel itself.

i recently stayed at this hotel for one night and it totally exceeded my expectations. my previous visit to kansas city was great, but this stay felt even better with a beautifully designed room and exceptional staff kindness. the bathroom was luxurious, and i loved the coffee shop experience.

I really enjoyed the historic feel of this hotel. The beautiful restoration of the building caught my eye immediately. The details were stunning, showcasing its rich history. The staff impressed me with their friendliness and helpfulness. Food and drinks at the lobby bar were excellent. I loved the coffee bar too. However, the comfort of the beds was disappointing. They felt quite hard and plastic-like, which detracted from my sleep. Also, I found the noise levels a bit bothersome at times. While the location was perfect for exploring the area and visiting nearby restaurants, these discomforts in the room prevented me from fully enjoying the stay.
